Project Two - Final Proposal- Cole Preston

This product is great for kids ages 9 and up because it's simple to operate and there are no small bits for a child to choke on. The product comes fully assembled inside the box and the only the thing that someone would have to do is put in batteries, which can be replaced one they've died.

My final concept is a tad different from the original design. In the beginning, the propeller was much smaller so it made me think that It wouldn't be able to stay in the air because the body would be heavier. I also hadn't thought to have the toy dual as a fan to keep somebody nice and cool. So I changed the design to incorporate the utilitarian aspect, all the while keeping the fun side of it and made the arms (which combine into a propeller) bigger so that it could stay in the air.

The product, Helio, could be found in stores like Zellers, Toys R Us, Wal-Mart and anywhere else (even smaller stores) that sell kids toys.
