Project 3 - Activate -Temporal Logistics: Alan, Charles, Nicole

Final Project Proposal
Our final proposal is as follows:
There are four people (2 pairs) staring at each other. At each side of the pairs is a video camera that is focusing on their eyes. The four people stare at their partner for a minute at a time, and then two people switch seats to stare with a different person for another minute. The winner/s that win the most out of the two minutes is then able to advance to the next round. The pair's staring will be projected onto the walls.

Stage #1:  Non-distraction round, free round when anyone can join

Stage #2: Distraction round, free round when anyone can join

Stage #3  Winners from round 1 compete to find a staring champion

Prizes are awarded to the champions.

Stage #4  Winners from round 2 compete to find a distraction staring champion

5 Stages of Engagement

Attraction: The game aspect makes it fun, as well as the promise of a champion and a prize. Also the screen projection on the wall lures people in and makes them curious about what is going on.

Entry: Instructions on a board will help people get involved as well as two judges who will guide our players should problems arrive. Also The two judges will sit in chairs around our area and stare at each other to demonstrate what we are doing without using words.

Engagement: People will stay into this with the knowledge of a prize, as well if they are good they have the ability to come back and compete again.

Exit: People will leave when they are done their staring round, unless they are winners in which case they come back and compete until there is a champion.

Extension: We could make a video of the staring people, and possibly incorporate the grand prize at the end with the staring contest.
